Hockey Talk

Armagh U14s recently took part in the Holland Elite Hockey Cup 2019. Our girls played against the top opposition from Holland, Germany and the Czech Republic national team.

The experience was truly amazing for the team as they had to work very hard to compete in every game. Armagh Hockey Club is very proud of the team and coaches for all their efforts and dedication. Armagh will hopefully plan to go back over to HC Schiedam for the 2021 tournament. WILL YOU BE NEXT IN THE SQUAD? Keep working hard!

Our Future

  • Grassroots hockey is the foundation of our club. We believe that from an early age we can introduce fun and skills that will encourage all our young players to enjoy hockey. We have a team of dedicated and qualified coaches to assist and improve learning both in a developmental and competitive environment. As our junior progress throughout the club they get the chance to compete in Ulster Tournaments. Our U13s finished Runner’s Up (Silver Medal Winners) in the N. Ireland Finals. Well done girls!

David Warnock’s son, Matthew, enjoyed himself at the CR Hockey Camp this week.
Matthew even had time to pose for pictures with his Dads framed shirt in the Club House.
We will see much more of Matthew on the Ardmore turf in the years to come 🏑❤️

Well done to Chloe McBride yesterday in a 2 match series v Leinster with the Ulster U16’s. The girls lost 1-0 in the first and won the second game 6-1. All at ALHC are very proud of everything Chloe’s achieved so far and we’re sure there’s plenty more to come for this young lady!
Shoutout to Christine as assistant coach for the squad and all the hard work she’s putting in behind the scenes.

We wish them both all the best for next weekends series v Uk Lions 🔴⚪️
